Brandon Barnes Enlarge Enlarge Brandon Barners Bio My name is Brandon Barnes, I am 24 years old. I graduated from Tri-Cities high school. After high school I attended DeVry University for few semesters. I studied computer programming. Later, I joined the U.S. Navy. While in the navy I did a lot of training on different areas of the ship. I was an aviation boatswain mate or ABE for short. My position yielded me to launch and recover aircraft along with maintaining heavy machinery. I was on the U.S.S Theodore Roosevelt CVN 71 (aircraft carrier) for about 4 years. I enjoy learning new things and trying to improve on what I learn. I would say I’m a visual learner, if I see something once I can pretty much understand it that instance. I have been in very dangerous situations when a seaman has fallen overboard. I have learned how to work together as a team to accomplish any goal that is set forth, which is a critical success factor in the U. S. Navy. I’m a quiet, yet studious type of individual that’s always looking to learn more new technology that will enhance my skillset and on the road to success of becoming an achiever of great opportunities.
