Prepping for SAS Analytics
Conference
October 8, 2012 – PQC International
will be one of the sponsoring partners for the SAS Analytics Conference that will
take place October 8 & 9 in Las Vegas, NV. In a push to show our great passion
for SAS and analytics we have created a banner on the home page of our PQC website.
Our banner allows those interested in attending the conference a discounted fee
for going through us to purchase their admission. This conference will be a huge
event for us due to its brand recall for PQC. Our CEO will be one of the session
speakers, which gives great exposure of our credibility. We are confident that our
diligent preparation and participation in the SAS Analytics conference will leave
a lasting impact that will lead us to bigger and better opportunities.

12, 2012, 12pm-1pm EST - Transparency implies openness, communication, and accountability,
based on the Wikipedia’s definition. This webinar will look at transparency
from three different perspectives: the first one is a personal perception; the second
one is the standpoint within and between organizations; the third one is the view
of new digital reality. But all three perspectives will suggest ways how leaders
can achieve healthy and sincere candidness; even though transparency is usually
a matter of survival in the networked universe, where competition is intense and
reputations can be crushed by the click of a mouse.
Coca-Cola Partners in Promise
July 19, 2012
The PQC team attended the Coca Cola
Partners in Promise Event at the Coca Cola Headquarters. The team was led to the
red carpet where they took a photo before heading to the auditorium for the award
ceremony. During the ceremony, we learned of the many minority suppliers that were
able to succeed because they had worked with Coca Cola, including PQC. When Frank
took the stage, the crowd immediately “woke up”. Frank, as usual, made
the crowd laugh and gave an inspiring speech. Afterwards, the awards were presented
to the awardees and everyone was then led to the reception. At the end of the evening,
all attendees received a pledge from the CEO of the Coca-Cola Company, Muhtar Kent,
as a souvenir for the night.
Atlanta Veteran Job Fair
June 27, 2012
Since the passing of the Veterans
Back to Work Act, companies have taken an increased interest in hiring active duty
and military veterans. The event was hosted at the Georgia World Congress Center
and several large companies were in attendance. Our booth was one of the largest
and most visited due to our military appearance and diverse look. We had great conversations
and received 125 resumes from the event. A job fair such as this is a great resource
pool for candidates that we are targeting and the experience levels that these candidates
bring. We may have had an even better response had we attended with mostly American
or military background associates. This event was a great success and we will continue
to be involved in job fairs such as these.
